To configure google analytics within Magento couldn’t be simpler.
- Go to your admin control panel and navigate to System > Configuration > Sales > Google API > Google Analytics
- Select enable to ‘Yes’
- Enter your google analytics account number ‘XX-XXXXXXXX-X’
You may need to refresh the site cache (always recommended after making changes to site configuration)
